So, What Is an Escape Room?

An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked inside a room and need to solve a series of puzzles and riddles in order to get out! Using clues, strategy and common sense, the players must work together and act quickly to complete the objectives at hand before their time runs out.

Each escape room is different in terms of theme, puzzles, time limit and story! For example our new and exciting Ace Ventura room is a little more light-hearted than our thrilling Hannibal room – which is 20 minutes longer than the usual hour!

Escape rooms originated in Japan where the idea was inspired by a Japanese video game before it was brought to life! They have been around for over a decade, but it’s only recently that the love and buzz of these rooms have popularised and become a trend.

Critical thinking and problem solving helps sharpen your mind, therefore escape rooms are good for you! It also develops great communication and team building skills. Whether you’re a group of friends, couple, family or co-workers, escape rooms are one of the best and most amusing ways of testing and strengthening your relationships!

Ultimately, Escape Rooms are definitely worth a visit. They’re an unforgettable, laugh-out-loud experience that takes you out of your comfort zone (in the best way!) So go on, challenge yourself in the most entertaining way possible.
